Top Puppy: September 29, 2014

This week, our Top Puppy has been nominated by Ms. Cooney who said the following about our winner:

I would like to nominate Brendan Kelliher for top puppy. He was highlighted by one of my freshmen students in leadership class as a senior who really worked hard to make the class inclusive and that he made everyone feel truly valued. Brendan is an awesome kid who has really grown in his time here at BHS and it is great to have someone who is such an integral part of our class. He is a true bulldog!

Congrats Brendan

Top Puppy - September 22, 2014

This week's Top Puppy has been nominated by Ms. Ferrelli and has been awarded to Dylan Comstock. Ms. Ferrelli said of Dylan:

Dylan Comstock is a sophomore in our 4th block class.  In addition to working diligently and offering support to other students on a regular basis, Dylan recently gave up a block of his Managed Time to put together a shelving system that now provides paraprofessionals with a spot to keep their belongings. We did not ask Dylan to do this. He simply saw the box of wire shelves and offered to do the favor all on his own. This was very helpful, since none of us had that time or energy to do it sourselves.

Great job Dylan!

Top Puppy - September 15, 2014

This week's Top Puppy winners are Matt Carroll and Jake Gordon.  This is what Ms. Wilczweski said
of our two winners:

I would like to nominate Matt Carroll and Jake Gordon for Top Puppies this week.  All my Marketing II students worked really hard to get the school store open for Parent Open House, but Matt and Jake went the extra mile by helping during lunch and other free times to make sure everything was done.  I really appreciated their hard work and dedication!

Top Puppy - September 8, 2014

This week's Top Puppy winners are Natali Williams and Morgan Edwards and have been nominated by Ms. Chenette.  Ms. Chenette remarked about our winners:

Natali Williams and Morgan Edwards deserve a Top Puppy Award for taking time out of their schedules to come into my IB Spanish IV class to share their experiences about the course form last year with incoming students.  Natali and Morgan thought they could help the incoming students by dispelling some of the misconceptions about the course and alleviating the fears they might have. They were honest and encouraging with their comments and really made the students less nervous!

For his all around enthusiasm and passion for Bulldog activities, Alden Skillings is the first winner of the 2014/15 Top Puppy Award.  Alden, in so many ways, exemplifies what it is to be a true bulldog!  Whether it is through his leadership and drive through Model UN, to his scoring of the winning goal in our soccer game against arch rivals, Manchester Central last Friday, Alden embodies amazing bulldog toughness to inspire the rest of our community.

Congratulations Alden for being a true leader for our bulldog family!
