Top Puppy - November 28, 2016

This weeks Top Puppies have been nominated by Ms. Wilczweski:

"I would like to nominate Franklin Nyamwange and Amadou Ndiaye for Top Puppy. This encounter was relayed to me by one of our fabulous food service ladies. Last week, she was talking to a student, Spencer, who was brand new to the school and who was asking about the options for lunch. Franklin and Amadou noticed this and took Spencer under their wing. They introduced him around, sat with him at lunch where he was seen smiling and having a good time, and introduced him to me in the school store. The next day Spencer was also helped in the breakfast line by another young man, whose name is unfortunately not known. It can be so intimidating to start at a new school especially after the school year has started. These young men showed the spirit of a true Bulldog!"

Top Puppy - November 21, 2016

This week's Top Puppy has been nominated by Ms Cooney:

"I would like to nominate Thomas Norfleet for top puppy. I have never met Thomas before or taught him in class but today he was in the Academic Center peer tutoring another student. He legitimately made my whole day. He was encouraging and very kind. He was saying things like "you got it man" and "what else do you think you could do here?" It was amazing! He was a natural teacher. The two had just met that day but Thomas volunteered more of his time."

Congrats Thomas!

Top Puppy - November 14, 2016

This week's top puppy nomination comes from Mrs. Lynch. This is what she had to say,

"I would like to nominate Natalie Ferreira for top dog. I don't personally know her, but watching how kind and thoughtful she is with all kinds of students is inspiring. She consistently goes out of her way to make sure all kids she comes in contact with feel valued and important. She is so outward focused and never too busy to lend a hand. What a wonderful example of kindness this student is!"

Congrats Natalie Ferreira

Top Puppy - November 7, 2016

This week's Top Puppy has been put forward by Ms. Palmer:

"I'd like to nominate Marisah Conway for Top Puppy. I met with one of my students who said that Marisah is always so nice to her. They are in the same cooking class and Marisah is always willing to lend her a helping hand. She creates a positive school culture on a daily basis, makes others feel welcomed and helps them to feel really good about themselves. She treats others with kindness and respect. Thanks Marisah for having such a big heart and accepting others for who they are. You are an inspiration!!!!"
